Phantom V Fold: Tecno recently launched its first foldable smartphone-‘Phantom V Fold’. The smartphone sports a 7.8-inch foldable screen which the company claims is virtually crease free.
The Tecno Phantom V Fold boasts a 7.8-inch 2K LTPO AMOLED primary display with a resolution of 2296×200 pixels, featuring a 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the smartphone includes a 6.42-inch FHD+ AMOLED external display with a resolution of 1080×2550 pixels.
Equipped with an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chipset and 12GB of RAM, the foldable Tecno smartphone is available in two storage options: 256GB and 512GB. Running on the Android 13 operating system with HiOS 13 Fold UI, the flagship smartphone offers large-screen features such as split screens, picture-in-pictures, parallel windows, and drag-and-drop functionality.
Over 2000 apps have been adapted for HiOS 13 Fold, including the top 1000 globally downloaded apps with 90% supporting split-screen and multi-window modes.
The dual-SIM foldable smartphone includes an in-display fingerprint sensor and features a triple rear camera, including a 50MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, and a 50MP portrait telephoto camera. The outer display houses a 32MP selfie shooter, while the inner front camera is 16MP.
