Optative Sentence- এর উদাহরণ: Optative Sentence এর অর্থ হচ্ছে ইচ্ছা বা প্রার্থনাসূচক বাক্য। যে Sentence দ্বারা কোনো ইচ্ছা প্রকাশ করা হয় বা প্রার্থনা করা হয়, তাকে Optative Sentence বলে। অর্থাৎ, যে সকল কাজ মানুষের করার ক্ষমতার বাইরে, সে সকল কাজ কাউকে করতে বলা যায় না। সে ক্ষেত্রে আমরা কেবল ইচ্ছা প্রকাশ করতে পারি বা প্রার্থনা করতে পারি। এ ধরনের Sentence ই Optative Sentence. নিচে ৬০টি উদাহরণ দেয়া হলো-
1.Bring me a glass of water.
আমার জন্য এক গ্লাস পানি নিয়ে এসো।
2.Don’t ever touch my phone.
কখনো আমার ফোন স্পর্শ করবেন না।
3.Give me a pen and a pencil.
আমাকে একটা কলম আর একটা পেন্সিল দাও।
4.Play with intensity and courage.
তীব্রতা এবং সাহসের সাথে খেলুন।
5.Remember me when we are parted.
আমাদের বিচ্ছেদ হলে আমাকে মনে রাখবেন।
6.Never forget the person who loves you.
যে তোমাকে ভালোবাসে তাকে কখনো ভুলো না।
7.Take a step and don’t move.
একটি পদক্ষেপ নিন এবং নড়াচড়া করবেন না।
8.Don’t be excited about everything without reason.
কারণ ছাড়া সবকিছু নিয়ে উত্তেজিত হবেন না।
9.Don’t rush or you will fall.
তাড়াহুড়ো করবেন না বা আপনি পড়ে যাবেন।
10.Read a lot to improve your writing skill.
আপনার লেখার দক্ষতা উন্নত করতে অনেক পড়ুন।
11.Write whenever you get a chance.
সুযোগ পেলেই লিখুন।
12.Don’t stay out at night.
রাতে বাইরে থাকবেন না।
13.Please open the door quickly.
দয়া করে তাড়াতাড়ি দরজা খুলুন।
14.Have a cup of cappuccino.
এক কাপ ক্যাপুচিনো খান।
15.You wash your hand first and then eat.
তুমি আগে হাত ধুয়ে তারপর খাও।
