A Winter Morning
Paragraph Class 8: A Winter Morning: A winter morning is a cold morning. It is not as bright as a spring morning or a summer morning in our country. Its light is mellow on most days. The rays of the morning sun come through a film of mist. Nature appears veiled in fog. The blurred outlines of natural objects lend a mysterious aspect to them.
This is a refreshing change from the usual bright mornings of other seasons in Bangladesh. People wear warm clothes of various kinds — coats, trousers, pullovers, wrappers, etc.
Some people bask in the sun wherever it is available. One special aspect of a winter morning is the way of warming oneself. People gather dry twigs, hay, waste paper, and even old rubber-tires, and light fire with them.
They sit around it, and engage in pleasant gossips. Sometimes accidents happen; somebody’s dress-ends catch fire. So, people have to be very careful in such a situation. A winter morning brings distress to the poor people, though it is pleasant for the rich.

শীতের সকাল হলো শীতের সকাল। এটা আমাদের দেশে বসন্তের সকাল বা গ্রীষ্মের সকালের মতো উজ্জ্বল নয়। বেশিরভাগ দিনই এর আলো নরম থাকে। সকালের সূর্যের রশ্মি কুয়াশার ছায়ার মধ্য দিয়ে আসে। কুয়াশায় ঢেকে আছে প্রকৃতি। প্রাকৃতিক বস্তুর অস্পষ্ট রূপরেখা তাদের কাছে একটি রহস্যময় দিক ধার দেয়।
বাংলাদেশের অন্যান্য ঋতুর স্বাভাবিক উজ্জ্বল সকাল থেকে এটি একটি সতেজ পরিবর্তন। লোকেরা বিভিন্ন ধরণের গরম পোশাক পরেন — কোট, ট্রাউজার, পুলওভার, মোড়ক ইত্যাদি। শীতের সকালের একটি বিশেষ দিক হল নিজেকে উষ্ণ করার উপায়। লোকেরা শুকনো ডালপালা, খড়, বর্জ্য কাগজ, এমনকি পুরানো রাবার-টায়ার এবং তাদের সাথে হালকা আগুন জড়ো করে।
তারা এটির চারপাশে বসে, এবং আনন্দদায়ক গসিসে জড়িত। কখনও কখনও দুর্ঘটনা ঘটে; কারো পোষাকের প্রান্তে আগুন লেগে যায়। তাই এমন পরিস্থিতিতে মানুষকে খুব সতর্ক থাকতে হবে। শীতের সকাল গরীব মানুষের জন্য কষ্ট নিয়ে আসে, যদিও ধনীদের জন্য তা আনন্দদায়ক।
