Paragraph Class 8: Your School Library: A library is a storehouse of knowledge. Library satisfies our eternal knowledge of the unknown and the unseen. A library plays an important role in the realm of knowledge.
A library is a part and parcel of a school. No school is complete without library. Our school has a big library. It is housed in two separate two-storied building. The library has a good collection of books. There are many almirahs.
The books are arranged in different shelves according to the subjects. The reading room and the office room of the librarian are separate. The librarian has some assistants. There is a big reading room.
The reading room is well furnished. When we take the help of a catalogue, the assistants at once find the book and help us. We are issued library cards.
We can borrow books from the library. In the reading room we can read as many as books as we like. Silence is must here. Nobody is allowed to make noise. The library is very helpful for us.

লাইব্রেরি হলো জ্ঞানের ভান্ডার। লাইব্রেরি অজানা এবং অদেখা সম্পর্কে আমাদের চিরন্তন জ্ঞানকে সন্তুষ্ট করে। একটি গ্রন্থাগার জ্ঞানের ক্ষেত্রে একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করে।
একটি গ্রন্থাগার একটি বিদ্যালয়ের একটি অংশ এবং পার্সেল। লাইব্রেরি ছাড়া কোনো বিদ্যালয় সম্পূর্ণ হয় না। আমাদের স্কুলে একটি বড় লাইব্রেরি আছে। এটি দুটি পৃথক দোতলা ভবনে অবস্থিত। লাইব্রেরিতে বইয়ের ভালো সংগ্রহ রয়েছে। অনেক আলমিরা আছে।
বিষয় অনুযায়ী বইগুলো বিভিন্ন শেলফে সাজানো হয়েছে। পাঠকক্ষ ও গ্রন্থাগারিকের অফিস কক্ষ আলাদা। গ্রন্থাগারিকের কিছু সহকারী আছে। একটা বড় পড়ার ঘর আছে। পড়ার ঘরটি সুসজ্জিত। আমরা যখন একটি ক্যাটালগের সাহায্য নিই, তখন সহকারীরা বইটি খুঁজে বের করে আমাদের সাহায্য করে।
আমরা লাইব্রেরি কার্ড জারি করা হয়. আমরা লাইব্রেরি থেকে বই ধার করতে পারি। পড়ার ঘরে আমরা যত খুশি তত বই পড়তে পারি। নীরবতা এখানে আবশ্যক. কাউকে আওয়াজ করতে দেওয়া হচ্ছে না। লাইব্রেরি আমাদের জন্য খুবই সহায়ক।
